Early Rock ‘n’ Roll in North Central West Virginia
Oral History Project
When I worked as a professor at Fairmont State University, I began a series of oral history interviews with musicians who witnessed and participated in the rise of rock ‘n’ in North Central West Virginia. My hope was that these oral history interviews would not only preserve these firsthand perspectives on local music making, but also provide us new insights into this era of American popular music.
[Note: I am still in the process of uploading these interviews.]
